Everything below is in every plan.
Analytics
- Human-only. A pageview counts when the browser confirms it with a beacon. Bots, hosting and cloud networks, and your own team's visits are kept out of the reader numbers and shown in their own places.
- Cookie-less. No analytics cookies on your visitors and no personal data stored. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control are not recorded at all.
- Sessions are a browser tab's visit: pages, time on page, scroll depth and where the visit came from.
- Sources: search, social, referrals, campaigns (
utm_*) and AI assistants. - Search Console and Bing data beside your traffic, with your own credentials.
- Data kept forever, exportable any time.
Crawlers & AI
- Server-side logging, through the server SDK or proxy mode, sees what a browser snippet cannot: every crawler request.
- Search engines, AI fetchers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, SEO tools and scrapers, each named, with what they read.
- AI-assistant referrals: readers who arrive from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Copilot, including links that come with no referrer but carry the assistant's tag.
Journeys & experiments
- Journeys: the paths readers take through your site, as lists and as a Sankey, without cookies.
- Goals: count a signup, a download or an outbound click with one attribute (
data-us-event) or one call (usherstats.track()). - A/B tests: split readers between variants and compare goals, on people only.
Bot protection
- Per site, choose a mode: off, log (see what would be stopped), challenge, or block.
- Rules that allow, challenge or deny by bot name or category, AI bots, verified search engines, network, country or path.
- A hosted challenge served from UsherStats' own domain, which hands the visitor back to your page.
- Everything it decides shows up in your analytics, so you can see what it stopped and why.
Proxy mode
Point a hostname at UsherStats and it sits in front of your origin: human analytics, crawler analytics and bot protection, with no code on your server. Useful for a site you cannot change, or a platform that allows no Worker.
API & agents
- A public REST API that can do everything your account can: read analytics, manage sites, rules, goals, team and exports.
- Tokens scoped by area and site, with expiry, shown once and stored hashed.
- An OpenAPI 3.1 spec, and an MCP server so AI agents can work with your analytics directly.
